Hi ...


Months back When my friend +Melvin Monteiro  told me about his idea of starting a food website,  I wondered loud what’s going to be so special about this one. That’s when he told me that the instructions will be accompanied with step by step pictures. I was very excited , anytime better over  only instruction .. especially If you making it for the first time .


When the website bongong.com was launched it was mostly Goan and Bengali food. I loved the fact that it has goan dishes. The typical Hindu and Catholic Goan food are made very differently. Same dish , different ingredients and  that changes  the flavor totally. Through this website I got  the other version of so many Goan  dishes I always wanted to try , also recipes to dishes like Vindaloo and Bolinas which I had never tried before.

Now almost after half a year .. when I see how far this venture has come.. , different recipes , different cuisines…. I must say I m proud to be associated with it . Also I MUST  suggest and urge all you people who reading this and think, ‘ I don’t think I can cook, even with pictures’ to try this website and prove yourself wrong …

Time to dump the Maggie noodles dinner….
